Building one world class health system for the Gold Coast

How GCPHN is working with general practitioners to improve patients' quality of care

General practices are busy and it’s not always easy to predict which patients are most likely to become unwell. However, Gold Coast Primary Health Network have produced new technology that will now help general practitioners to identify patients that are most at risk of poor health or disease.

Using data extracted by the Primary Sense™ computer tool, to notify a patients GP when:
  • a patient would benefit from a health check to keep them healthy
  • treatments could be provided to a patient by their GP to reduce the risk of becoming sick
  • new results received by a patients GP show they have an increased risk of becoming unwell
GCPHN is government-funded to provide general practices with resources and support to deliver quality healthcare to patients.

Gold Coast Primary Health Network provides support to General Practice, the cornerstone of healthcare, to deliver better care for their patients.
